Type of Asbestos Surveys

We offer two types of asbestos surveys: Management Surveys and Refurbishment/Demolition Surveys. Our surveyors will consult with you to determine the type of survey that is most appropriate for your property.

Management Surveys

A management survey is designed to determine the existence and extent of any asbestos-containing materials in your property used or occupied. The survey aims to provide enough information for you to be able to manage the asbestos-containing materials appropriately.

Refurbishment/Demolition Surveys

A refurbishment/demolition survey is required when a property is to be refurbished, repaired, or demolished or when there is any disturbance of the asbestos-containing materials during any other work. Our surveyors will take samples of any materials that could potentially contain asbestos.

Asbestos Surveys Reports

After conducting an asbestos survey, we provide a detailed report outlining any asbestos-containing materials found in your property.

Our reports include:

• The location, condition and extent of any asbestos found
• The type of asbestos
• The likelihood of damage, disturbance or deterioration
• The asbestos risk assessment
• The recommendations on appropriate measures to take

The report will enable you to manage any asbestos in your property safely, whether it is to be removed or managed.
