At Affordable Asbestos Removal Hampshire, we offer three types of asbestos surveys:

1. Management Survey A management survey is the standard type of asbestos survey for all non-domestic buildings. Its purpose is to locate any ACMs that could be disturbed during normal occupancy or foreseeable maintenance and to assess their condition and the risk of exposure.

2. Refurbishment/Pre-Demolition Survey A refurbishment/demolition survey is required when a building is to undergo major refurbishment or demolition. Its purpose is to locate all ACMs in the building, including those that may be concealed or inaccessible, and to assess their condition and the risk of exposure to those who may carry out the work.

3. Re-Inspection Survey Asbestos-containing materials do not necessarily need to be removed if they are in good condition and are not likely to be disturbed. However, as the condition of the ACMs may change over time, a re-inspection survey is required every 12 months to ensure that they remain in good condition and that the risk of exposure is still low.
