Refurbishment/Demolition Surveys

Refurbishment/demolition surveys are more intrusive surveys that will require partial destructive checks to locate ACMs. These surveys should be carried out before any refurbishment, demolition, or major repair work is carried out in older buildings. Within the survey we will take a sample of any suspected ACMs and send it to be tested by an accredited laboratory. This type of survey is intended to locate all ACMs in a building, so they can be safely removed by a licensed contractor. After the refurbishment/demolition survey is completed, an asbestos register will be produced, detailing the location and condition of all ACMs that were found.
