We specialize in two types of asbestos surveys - Management Survey and Refurbishment/Demolition Survey.

The Management Survey is an intrusive inspection which involves assessing the condition of the building and any materials that may potentially contain asbestos. The survey mainly involves visual inspections, but may also involve some minimal destructive work where necessary to reach the materials internals. It locates any potential asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) that may be disturbed during normal everyday work in the building. We then provide a detailed report highlighting the location, condition, and nature of the ACMs, and make recommendations on how to manage them safely.

The Refurbishment/Demolition Survey is more intrusive than the Management Survey. Refurbishment and demolition works involve breaking down the buildings structure, and this type of survey locates all of the ACMs that may need removal before the work starts. This survey is essential if youre planning major work in the building, or if it is likely to be demolished. Our report includes recommendations on how to manage or remove them safely before starting any work.
