Refurbishment/Demolition Survey

A refurbishment/demolition survey (formerly known as a type 3 survey) is required before any major refurbishment, construction, or demolition works on a building that may disturb or damage the asbestos-containing materials. Re-inspection surveys are typically conducted every 12 months for higher-risk properties and every 2-3 years for lower-risk properties.
