Types Of Asbestos Surveys We Conduct

We provide two types of asbestos surveys: management surveys and refurbishment and demolition surveys.

Management Surveys

Management surveys are conducted to locate and assess the presence, type, and condition of any ACMs in a building. The survey aims to manage the risks associated with any identified ACMs. Our surveyors use various techniques, including destructive and non-destructive, to collect samples for laboratory analysis.

The management survey report provides a comprehensive record of all the ACMs found in the building, including their location, condition, and any surface treatment required. The report also includes a risk assessment and recommendations on how to manage or remove the ACMs.

Refurbishment And Demolition Surveys

Refurbishment and demolition surveys are conducted before any refurbishment, demolition, or significant alteration to a building. The survey aims to locate and assess the presence and condition of any ACMs that may be disturbed during the planned works.

Our surveyors conduct a thorough investigation of the building's structure and materials, including inaccessible areas, to identify all the ACMs. We collect samples for laboratory analysis and provide a detailed report outlining the type, location, and condition of the ACMs found. The report also includes a risk assessment and recommendations on how to manage or remove the ACMs before the planned works commence.
