Asbestos testing

We collect samples of suspected asbestos-containing materials and send them to a UKAS accredited laboratory for analysis. The samples we collect are analyzed using polarized light microscopy (PLM), which is the most reliable method for identifying asbestos fibers.

Asbestos management

If we identify asbestos-containing materials in your property that do not pose an immediate risk, we will provide you with advice on how to manage them. We will provide you with a management plan that outlines how to monitor and maintain the asbestos-containing materials over time.

Asbestos removal

If we identify asbestos-containing materials that pose an immediate risk or cannot be managed safely, we will provide you with advice on how to remove them safely. We work with licensed asbestos removal contractors who can safely and legally remove the asbestos-containing materials.

Our team of asbestos testing specialists follow a strict protocol when conducting asbestos testing to ensure accuracy and safety. Here's how we conduct asbestos testing:

• Site visit: We conduct a site visit to identify suspected asbestos-containing materials.
• Sample collection: We collect samples of the suspected asbestos-containing materials using specialized equipment and techniques to avoid disturbing the fibers.
• Sample analysis: We send the samples to a UKAS accredited laboratory to be analyzed using polarized light microscopy.
• Reporting: We provide our clients with detailed reports of the asbestos testing results, including recommendations for management or removal of the asbestos-containing materials.
